Short version: this website collects nothing about you. No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no cookies of its own. If you buy the book, the checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy, which does process your data in order to sell you something. The detail follows.

What this website collects

Nothing directly. These are static pages. No contact form, no newsletter, no account, no analytics, no advertising network, and no cookie set by this domain.

Third parties that receive data when a page loads

On Google Fonts: loading fonts from Google sends your IP to Google in the United States. If you would rather this site did not, it can be removed in one line — see the deployment guide. Nothing else depends on it.

If you buy

The purchase is processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC as merchant of record. You give your details to Lemon Squeezy, not to this site, and the operator never sees or stores your card details. After a completed sale the operator receives a limited order record — name, email, billing country, product and amount — used only to deliver the book, answer support, process refunds and keep the accounting records the law requires.

Legal basis

Contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — delivering what you paid for.
Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — tax and accounting records.
Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — keeping the site online and secure.

How long

Order records for as long as Spanish tax and commercial law requires, generally up to six years from the end of the financial year. Support correspondence is deleted once the matter is closed.

Emails

A receipt and a download link. If the book is revised, a short notice that a new edition is available. That is all — no newsletter, no sequence. Every such email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects your access.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. Write to hello@raydawson.net and you will get an answer within one month. Some records cannot be deleted while a legal retention duty applies — invoices being the usual case.

You can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, aepd.es) or your own national authority.

Cookies

This domain sets none. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie. A checkout sets the cookies Lemon Squeezy needs for the transaction you asked for. None are used for analytics, profiling or advertising, so no consent banner is shown.

If you ever add analytics this stops being true and you will need a consent banner that blocks those scripts until the visitor agrees.

Children

Not directed at children; no data knowingly collected from anyone under 14.
